To create a campaign for both NHS employers and employees, aimed at tackling mental health discrimination in the workplace.

Knitting it all together

We discovered that given 1 in 4 people
are suffering with mental health issues, those that look after us – the health service themselves – need to recognise the signs and know where they can find support.


We developed the campaign positioning ‘Open Your Mind’, complete with it’s own brand identity.


An internal communications campaign was subsequently developed which featured recognisable images from within the NHS environment, combined with thought provoking messages to help raise the awareness of mental health symptoms and support avenues.


We developed a microsite which included the ability for NHS trusts to order subsequent campaign materials, and handled the campaign’s email marketing.

Raising the baa

We are really proud to have been involved in this campaign, for a subject that is
too often seen as the last taboo. It was widely regarded by all government health departments as a huge success and was backed by the national ‘time to Change’ campaign.
